What a joy to compile this post and be freshly reminded of each wedding photographed this past year! Every year we have the honor of getting to know brides and grooms who eagerly welcome us into their lives to be a part of the most fun and tender moments. Every single wedding day, after doing this job for years, I still tear up at one point or another as I get to witness joyful souls be forever tied together. 

Two thousand sixteen. Twenty five couples, each one with such different stories, unique looks and wedding styles. Some of the days it rained (a couple times it poured) and other ones glowed in sunshine. Each couple meticulously prepared and planned for this day, and you know what? There were little hiccups in each one of them. But you know what was even more true? Each one was stunning. I witnessed the most magical moments, ones that could have never been arranged or planned, tear-jerking, laughter-filled, genuinely perfect moments on a day when marriage was celebrated and two people became one. It’s beautiful. And because each one is so different from the last, I really don’t see getting tired of this anytime soon! :) I love my job—more each year. 

Thank you, thank you to each person we got to work with and photograph this year. We love you! And we can’t wait to see what the coming year holds.
